I got to see this slide show on rediff.com; it shows older pics of a few actresses along with their recent ones. I had seen ash's pic in it, earlier too, and remember saying that half of their beauty lies in the way they present themselves. Remember Karishma Kapoor in Andaz Apna Apna?
Also if this applies to actors as well, me too can have superstar looks!

:p AM STILL LAUGHING .... I still remember karishma kapoor in prem kaidee and Kajol in Baazigar and now they have changed like anything ... even going to golden era and talking of Rekha... her old movies and recent one :P
even esha deol for that matter looked hideous in her early movies...but with dhoom, she got the makeover of her life!
i guess all of us are superstars in the making then!....all waiting for our make-overs! :D
I guess early 90s were a transition phase, b4 the 90s heroines were comfortable wearing indian clothes, and like after mid 90s they had adapted to western looks pretty well. I think same applies to actors as well.

i gotta say tho...chicks of nowadays look much better than back then!!! have u all ever seen pics of the chicks in 70s with the bell bottoms and crazy huge shades and curls attached to curls?? i think the aim is more natural nowadayz. Thank goodness rock n roll changed...atleast men dont wear leather spandex anymore. Just my 10 cents...
